Dr. Heather McLemore is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine with a clinical appointment at Baptist Health-Conway. She completed her residency with distinction in global health and international emergency medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she was a Gold Humanism and Willis Memorial Honors Scholar. Dr. McLemore is passionate about providing healthcare to underserved and unreached populations. She has provided emergency medicine training in Mexico, Myanmar, and Thailand, while teaching and interpreting medical Spanish at local free clinics. Dr. McLemore is an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Her research on emergency treatment quality and decision making has been presented at conferences in the U.S. and abroad, and published in The Annals of Emergency Medicine.
