FowlerDr. Christopher Fowler is an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine and currently serves as the Student Clerkship Director. He is a Colorado native that transplanted to Arkansas in 2013. Having grown up in Colorado he enjoyed the outdoors, snowboarding, boating and hiking. He attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney for 2 years, where he played with the conference championship football team. After a 2 year church mission to Seoul, South Korea, he completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University (Go Cougs!) in Genetics and Biotechnology. He graduated from Midwestern University- Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona in 2013. Dr. Fowler is a proud graduate of the UAMS Emergency Medicine Residency program in 2016 and has been faculty since that time. He has been active in CORD, SAEM and CDEM, serving on several committees. His interests include curriculum development and resident/student education. When he is not working his nocturnist schedule, Dr. Fowler can be found with his wife and 4 girls hanging out at the lake.
