Carly EastinDr. Eastin is from Flora, Indiana and completed medical school and emergency medicine residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She splits her time between the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Emergency Department and the UAMS Emergency Department. She is active in residency teaching by leading the Evidence-Based Medicine curricula for both the UAMS College of Medicine and the Emergency Medicine Residency. She oversees the mandatory scholarly project requirement for the Emergency Medicine Residency as well. She enjoys bedside teaching and mentoring students and residents. Her research interests to date have been varied but have focused on cardiac arrest and suicide. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs, traveling, cooking, and trying new foods.
