Dr. Adam Chandler was born and raised in Little Rock where he attended UAMS for medical school.  Upon graduation in 2007 he began his Emergency Medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center.  He served as chief resident in 2009-2010 receiving the Susan B. Promes Leadership Award among emergency medicine residents.  After a brief time working in private practice he became full time faculty as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UAMS in October of 2011.

He achieved ABEM board certification in June of 2011 and is an active member of ACEP, SAEM, AAEM and the Arkansas Medical Society.  He is the course director for ACLS training at UAMS and his academic interests include resident education, severe sepsis and simulation medicine.
